Made in our own workshop

We are a dedicated team of skilled craftsmen with a passion for quality and customer satisfaction. We glaze in-house, so conservation windows can be traditionally glazed with putty, and our own skilled fitters can install your joinery, or we can supply only.

Every offcut is put to use

Our timber comes from responsibly managed, sustainable sources and is ordered to size to keep offcuts to a minimum. Our own environmental management system recycles cardboard, water and wood waste.

All our wood waste is made into briquettes that heat the workshop and are sold for home heating. We are on the Biomass Suppliers List, and we use water-based paints and finishes wherever we can.

Conservation and chapel windows

We have years of experience with conservation projects, working with project managers and conservation officers. For numerous chapels in the area we have replaced old and worn-out windows with exact replicas, keeping the original look of the building.

“The deacons and congregation are extremely pleased with the windows – they look great! They are a perfect match to the other existing – a job that others told us wasn’t possible!”

Low-energy windows and doors

We were awarded the Passive House Institute certificate for manufacturing Passive windows and doors, and were one of the first suppliers to develop a UK based production system. The range is tested and verified, from conservation styles to contemporary designs.

Triple glazing
U-values between 0.93 and 1.2, depending on style and materials, with a “sister window” in a more traditional style.
Tested
All our glazed windows and doors are U-value tested, and some have Secured by Design certification.
Accoya
A stable, durable and sustainable alternative to tropical hardwoods. All Accoya windows and doors have a 12-year guarantee if supplied fully finished and fitted by our in-house team.
